Statue City Cruises operates daily ferry service to Liberty Island and Ellis Island from Battery Park in New York City and Liberty State Park in New Jersey. Use the schedules below to view departure and return ferry times, transportation between the islands, and plan your visit.


Note:

  • Schedules vary by season. Check back for the latest departure times and service updates.
  • Statue City Cruises operates rain or shine and in most weather conditions. Service alerts will be posted on this website if severe weather or other operational circumstances affect ferry service.
  • Statue City Cruises operates every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Due to ferry schedules, entry after 2pm will not allow enough time to visit both islands.

Did You Know?

Battery Park and Liberty State Park offer the same island experience—the only difference is the order of your visit. Ferries from Battery Park visit Liberty Island first, while ferries from Liberty State Park visit Ellis Island first, offering different views of New York Harbor along the way.
